Come and have your eyes opened to the excitement and variety of contemporary binding. Featuring the work of some 28 bookbinders working today. You will find not only leather and gold leaf but also a wide range of other materials and techniques. Despite suggestions that the book's days are numbered, nothing could be further from the truth. There will always be an interest in, and love of, beautiful and extraordinary hand-made artefacts, elaborate or simple. 'We happened on this exhibition and it was an absolute treat.
